Mold Removal (Remediation)

Mold, and its many variations (mildew, spores, etc.), can cause incredible amounts of property damage and present a potentially serious health risk. Mold can grow in cold or warm temperatures, in damp to wet conditions, in complete darkness or complete light, and in varying oxygen levels. Mold can grow anywhere.

The one common thread to mold growth is water. Mold can grow as a result of any of the following conditions:

  • Poor drainage - Blocked or partially blocked drains, backed up sewers, or clogged gutters.
  • Leaks - Roofs, exterior walls, and plumbing.
  • Pooling - Prolonged condensation, consistently humid air, inadequate insulation or vapor barriers, or poorly cleaned or uncleaned HVAC systems.

Since 1976, Cemcare has treated mold-contaminated homes and businesses. Cemcare has the equipment, experience, cleaning solutions, and trained personnel to respond to the highest levels of mold contamination (Level 4). Cemcare's procedure for treating mold contamination includes:

  • A thorough inspection and assessment of the extent of the contamination.
  • An action plan of recommendations to contain and remove the mold.
  • Establishing barriers and airlocks to prevent the spread of mold. We also estalbish areas to decontaminate our equipment, our employees, and your property.
  • The use of highly-trained personnel and time-proven procedures that effectively contains and removes mold contamination.
  • Insulation removal, if necessary.

Cemcare will stay on the job until your site passes its Food and Drug Administration (FDA) final air quality sampling test after we conduct a mold remediation (removal).

Cemcare works with insurance companies, loss adjusters, and other professionals to ensure that you receive effective mold remediation services. Cemcare can also operate as the general contractor for a Level 5 contamination, which is the same as Level 4, but includes the complete removal of all HVAC components.
